Johan Vineyards Savagnin 2021

Johan Vineyards Savagnin 2021

Description & Tasting Notes

Why this wine?

The Savagnin grape is native to the Jura region in eastern France. It is known to produce dry white wines, full of mineral-driven aromatics and loads of bright acidity. Reminiscent of Chardonnay, but with more minerality and a very long finish.

Johan Vineyards resides on 85 acres of gently sloping estate vineyards in the heart of the Willamette Valley. Adjacent to the Van Duzer corridor, the vineyards are blessed with afternoon ocean breezes and cool evening temperatures that are ideal for ripening Burgundian varietals.
